Inspection of chain appearance:

  3. Whether the roller is cracked or damaged. Excessive wear;
  4. Whether the joint is loose and deformed;
  5. There is no sound or abnormal vibration during operation, and whether the lubrication condition of the chain is good;
    Chain limitations: chain as a common power transmission device, through the hyperbolic arc “chain” design, reduce friction, used in the power is relatively large and the running speed is relatively slow, than the belt drive has obvious advantages, such as tanks, pneumatic compressors, etc., but the transmission speed can not be too fast, because the flexibility of the chain is not as good as the belt transmission.
    Inspection method of chain:
    Chain length accuracy shall be measured according to the following requirements
  6. The chain is cleaned before measurement;
  7. Surround the tested chain on the two sprockets, and the upper and lower sides of the tested chain should be supported;
  8. Before measurement, the chain should stay for 1min under the state of applying one-third of the minimum ultimate tensile load;
  9. When measuring, apply the specified measurement load on the chain to make the upper and lower sides of the chain tensioned. The chain to the sprocket should ensure the normal tooth;
  10. Measure the center distance of the two sprockets Chain structure: composed of the inner chain section and the outer chain section. It is composed of the inner chain plate, the outer chain plate, the pin, the sleeve, the roller five small components, the quality of the chain depends on the pin and the sleeve.
    Measure chain elongation:
  11. In order to remove the clearance of the entire chain, it is necessary to measure under a certain degree of pulling tension on the chain;
  12. When measuring, in order to minimize errors, measure at 6-10 sections (link);
  13. Measure the size of the inner L1 and outer L2 between the rollers with the number of sections to find the judging size L=(L1+L2)/2;
  14. Find the extension length of the chain. This value is compared with the use limit value of the chain extension in the preceding item. The extension of the chain = judging size – reference length/reference length *100%, reference length = chain pitch * number of sections.
