Today we are sharing a real buyer demand case. We received an inquiry from a client on Alibaba International Station. At first, the client sent us a picture of women’s hair ties. Initially, we thought he wanted to purchase finished hair ties, which is not our product line, and we were ready to decline. However, after further communication, we discovered that his true need was to custom hair tie logo, which perfectly matched our expertise in hardware accessories.

2. About the Client
The client is based in France and works in women’s jewelry wholesale. Previously, he mainly sold products related to big brands, but the profit margins and customer base were limited. Now he plans to build his own brand IP, starting with women’s hair ties and scrunchies. He wanted us to develop a custom metal sign for his products. After browsing our website, he realized that we specialize in bag hardware accessories, metal logos, chains, and hooks, which led him to contact us for OEM development.

The client purchased a sample from a well-known brand and sent us photos to understand the structure. Our engineers reviewed his logo and design requirements and proposed a better solution:
- Different from the big brand’s glue attachment method: although easy to produce, it tends to fall off.
- Use rivet connection with electroplating surface: stronger, more durable, and more premium.
- Material upgrade from zinc alloy to copper: slightly higher cost, but better wear resistance and shine, enhancing brand value.
